Happy 2013 and let us all have a successful season this year. It seems this year has started with planning, as it should. Aren't our new year's resolutions little plans and promises to ourselves? Well, this year I have made quite a few promises to myself and am rather inspired to see them through.

Yes, among others I have given myself a promise I would start running, eat healthier and of course get in shape attaching a tag with my ideal weight that somehow in my memory made me feel my best some 15 years ago. Ummm, yes... They say that 80% of recorded plans get realised so I admit I will be happy when I reach 80% of that goal. :)

On to the really important decisions; incorporating my company, employing people, growing and starting to work on my legacy. Those decisions, those goals are rooted in my passion for landscape design and business and learning carried forward from the last few years. I used to believe I can do everything by myself, well now I know better. Rather than struggling to prove myself right I decided to embrace the possibility that partnerships and teamwork are the way to go. Thus, this year there will be movement on that front.

I suppose writing a blog and creating more of an Internet presence was a part of my goal setting and possibly the hardest step to take, so there it is, step one: stating a promise to myself online, for everyone to see, hold me responsible, support me and contribute if they wish.
